We are interested in the following types of items for our stores:

• Items recently purchased, at least within the last two years
• Clean, in style, excellent condition and preferably on hangers
• Designer labels and items from better department stores and boutiques
• Clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, belts, hats, and accessories
• Additional items of interest may be applicable

Our buyers are here Monday through Saturday 10 am - 5 pm. No appointment necessary.

Three Ways to Sell

Cash on the Spot If your items meet our criteria, we can offer you cash payment on the spot. Yes, it really can be that simple!	Store Credit You may choose store credit instead of cash. After all, why not put your dollars back into that stylish wardrobe - especially at our bargain prices!	Consignment* If we choose to consign your items, we will price them appropriately and put them into our inventory. If and when they sell, you will receive half of the sale proceeds.
* Note: Items unsold within your designated consignment period are donated to charity. Please ask us if you would like a charitable donation receipt.

Seasonal Buying Windows

Women’s Closet Exchange has two major seasonal buying schedules. Use this as a general guide for when to bring in your fashion items:

January through July

August through December

Store Policies

At Women’s Closet Exchange, we don’t believe fussing around with a bunch of rules makes for good relationships with our clients. In fact, with our guiding principle of K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sue) we have only two:

1. All Sales are Final - We want you to be 100% satisfied with every purchase you make from us, and you will find that there is no pressure to buy in our store. However, once you have decided on a purchase and taken it out of the store, it is yours to keep.
2. Layaway is for “Must Haves” - We do offer a limited layaway policy. If you find an item that you can’t live without, but don’t intend to purchase at that time, we will allow you to hold it for 30 days with a deposit of 50% of the sale price.
